This Week's Schedule:  Both TTs are open. Make appointments for Tuesday and Wednesday.

Teacher Appointments: If I make a TT appointment for you, please come to room 122 for TT.  If you feel you should go to another class, see me to clear this with me.

Fourth quarter progress report period ended Friday, Nov. 15.  I will submit grades on Wednesday.

Next week is Thanksgiving Break!  Don't come to school.

Canned Food Drive: During 4th period, you can donate canned and non-perishable foods to help local people facing food insecurity.  Bring your items to your 4th period class.

Reminder: if you come to TT in room 122, you MUST bring academic work.  If you don't have homework or studying to do, bring a book to read.

EL World History

You should be finished with  your book about the French Revolution.  You will not be given additional work time for this in class; we need to move on to the test.

You'll complete some review sheets for the French Revolution.

You'll take the unit test on the French Revolution as soon as we've finished our review. This means the unit test will probably take place at block period.  I will do a binder check while you take the test.

We'll start a new unit on the Industrial Revolution.

Edpuzzle Videos for this unit: You can still watch the videos for this unit -- French Revolution and History vs. Napoleon.  If you watch a video after the due date, send me an email to let me know.

If you missed the unit test (Friday, Nov. 15), see me right away to arrange a makeup.  Make a TT appointment.  I do not want to administer makeups after Thanksgiving Break.

We'll start our new unit -- US Foreign Policy in the Late 19th and Early 20th Centuries.

We'll start with basic concepts, and you will complete a spectrum using example of US foreign policy.

We'll review your text notes on "Reaching for Empire."

We'll discuss "manifest destiny," an important motive for US expansion during the late 19th century.
