EL World History:
No homework.

APEH:
1. Read the next two sections in McKay (404-414), and do the assigned questions. Do another 10 IDs.
2. You should be reading/highlighting/annotating the readings on Lutheranism, Calvinism and Roman Catholicism. There is information about the Jesuits in your textbook. Use the chart that was handed out in class to record your findings.

US History:
1. Due Thursday: Cornell notes on "Territorial Expansion."  
2. If you missed the homework quiz on "Washington and the Government," see me to arrange a makeup. 

EL World History:
No homework.

APEH:
1. Second section of the SG is due Thursday.  Do another 5 of the IDs. 
2. You should be reading/annotating the handout, looking for the essential beliefs of Lutheranism, Calvinism and Catholicism.  Fill in as much of the chart as possible...we will fill in the rest as we go through the unit. 
3. Please return all copies of Machiavelli and More.

US History:
1. Due at block: Your physical map of the USA, together with the sheet of clues/answers.
2. Due Thursday: Cornell notes on "Territorial Expansion of the USA," pages 130-135.

EL World History:
No homework.

APEH:
1. Start reading the chapter on the Reformation.  I'll stamp questions 1 and 4 and the first 5 IDs on Tuesday. 
2. Read and annotate the handout (excerpt from the Perry book). You are looking for essential doctrines of Lutheranism, Calvinism and Roman Catholicism (the Council of Trent).

1. Due at block: Answers to the question on Alexander Hamilton (Articles of Confederation).
2. We will finish the current unit at block (Tuesday or Wednesday).  You will take a test and hand in a  packet of work from your binder.

EL World History:
1. Big social studies vocabulary quiz on Monday!  Study your vocabulary binder!

APEH:
1. Machiavelli/More responses are due on Monday.
2. We will continue our DBQ practice on Monday, after the Hub Dates Quiz.

1. Quiz at block!  "Path to Revolution." This quiz will cover everything so far...up to the Declaration of Independence and the start of the war.
2. If you didn't get a stamp on "Winning the War" on Monday, you can get one at the beginning of the period at block.

EL World History:
1. If you didn't finish the first column on the chart (Autocracy and Democracy), finish it as homework.
2. Start preparing for a big social studies vocabulary quiz!  All the words in your vocabulary notebook.

APEH:
1. Your Renaissance art project is due at block.
2. I will stamp the last part of your SG (should have done this Monday!).
3. You should be ready to discuss Machiavelli and More in small groups.

1. Due at block: "Winning the War."  This is a standard reading guide rather than reading notes. Be sure to answer each question with one or more complete sentences. Avoid pronouns -- be specific about the subject of each sentence.
2. We will finish the Paine reading in class on Monday.
3. Quiz is coming!  There will be a quiz on the first part of this unit...from the founding of the colonies to the outbreak of the Revolution...next week at block period.

EL World History:
1. Vocabulary quiz Monday!  Types of government and other words related to government. Study the practice quiz you have in your binder.

APEH:
1. I will stamp the last section of the Study Guide, together with the IDs and Comprehension Check, on Monday.
2. Your complete Renaissance Art project will be due at block period.
3. You should be prepared to discuss Machiavelli and More in small groups next week....block period? Thursday at the latest.

1. Due Friday: Choose one of the Boston Massacre cartoons and write an article to support it. Write from the point of view of a reporter for a Boston newspaper or a London newspaper.  Aim for about 250 to 300 words. Typed, double spaced, 11 or 12 pt font, 1 inch margins.
2. See me immediately if you missed "3 Worlds Meet" or the geography quiz.

EL World History:
1. Study your vocabulary! 

APEH:
1. Next section of the Study Guide is due Thursday.
2. We will continue working on Renaissance art in class on Thursday and Friday.
