1. You absolutely must be finished with both the Timeline notes and the Venn diagram!

World Civ:
1. Due Thursday: "Ottomans Build a Vast Empire."

US History:
1. By the end of block period, you should have finished your Walking Timeline notes, and your Venn diagram comparing Martin Luther King, Jr., and Malcolm X.

World Civ.:
1. Your homework assignment "Ottomans Build a Vast Empire" is due on Thursday.

1. You should be just about finished taking your notes on the "Walking Timeline" of the Civil Rights movement.
2. At block, we'll compare the ideas of Martin Luther King, Jr. and Malcolm X.

World Civ.:
1. You should have finished your map of the modern Middle East in class on Friday.
2. Some of you also finished the text assignment "Ottomans Build a Vast Empire." If you didn't, please have it finished by Thursday.

The upcoming weekend is a holiday...no school on Monday -- it's Memorial Day.
This means that time is short until the end of the school year. Check with all your teachers to see if your grade can be improved if need be! Get a printout and ask to talk to your teachers if you don't understand your grade!

US History:
1. Your poster for the "walking timeline" is due on Thursday!
2. The text assignment "New Frontier and Great Society" is due Friday.

World Civ.:
1. We'll take an open note quiz on "Economic Reforms of Deng Xiaoping" and "Massacre at Tiananmen Square" on Thursday.
2. Bring your books on Friday, so we can start our new (and last) unit on the Middle East.

World Civ.:
1. You should have finished both the sheet enitled "Conditions in Pre-Revolutionary China" and the "Timeline of Modern Chinese History." I will stamp them on Friday if you have them ready.

4th quarter progress report grades will go to the office tomorrow morning; they should be mailed out by Thursday of this week.

US History:
1. We'll finish our music festival at block, do a quic review of Vietnam and then...
2. Take the Vietnam unit test. Be sure to bring your notebook.
3. Bring your books to class on Thursday and Friday.

World Civ.:
1. Open-note quiz on "China Responds to Pressure from the West" will take place at block.

APEH:
1. You should have turned in both your books by now. If you haven't done so, please turn them in as soon as possible, so that next year's students can use them.

The year is nearly over, but we still have weeks of school left. Try not to fade out! Keep doing your assignments and check with me if you have questions about your grade. The 4th quarter progress reports will go out next week.

US History:
1. "Response to the War in the US" is due at block.
2. Your short writing assignment "Learning from Vietnam" is due on Friday.

World Civ.:
1. Text assignment "China Responds to Pressure from the West" is due Friday.
2. You should have finished "The Development of Chinese Civilization" in class at block. If not, you should borrow a copy of the reading packet and finish it for Thursday.
2. Please bring your book to class on Thursday.

APEH:
1. Bring your books to class so we can turn them in on Monday, the 15th.
2. Finish the LBP...it's due Friday.
3. Read the article on German re-unification so we can discuss it. We'll start watching "Triumph of the Will" on Thursday.

1. We'll wrap up Vietnam in the next week and then move on to Civil Rights.

World Civ.:
1. Don't forget there's a unit test on Friday -- Russian Revolution to the Collapse of the Soviet Union. Bring your notebook to class to hand in a packet of work.
2. Due at block: the review sheet on the Cold War.

APEH:
1. Test on Chapters 30 and 31 is at block.
2. We'll review for the AP exam for the remainder of the week.
3. I'll be available for review sessions at lunch on Tuesday and Wednesday, at tutorial, and after school Tuesday through Thursday. I'll review with whoever shows up! Bring your review sheets.
