World Civ:
We've just about wrapped up for this year! Remember to study for the final (use the blue review sheet); you may bring a single 3x5 card of notes to the final. The card must be in your own handwriting, and you may use both sides.

Your final essay is due on Friday, June 3. If you have any questions about essay topics or organization, see me right away. As always...typed, double-spaced, one inch margins, 12 pt. font.

You should have handed in you timeline of the Israeli/Palestinian conflict at block this week (Tuesday or Wednesday). In addition, I stamped your reading notes on the major issues that prevent peace between the Israelis and Palestinians. These assignments are intended to help you prepare for the final essay.

We discussed all three possible essay topics, and reviewed essay structure. (You are only writing on one topic.)

Bring your notebook to the final exam, as you will be handing in homework at that time.
Second period final: Monday, June 6th at 10:20.
Third period final: Tuesday, June 7th at 8:10.

US History:
You should have completed the Venn diagram comparing Martin Luther King, Jr., and Malcolm X. You should also have completed the chart showing social groups other than African Americans, and their goals/obstacles.

We reviewed the essay topics and discussed essay structure. If you have questions about the essay, see me right away. You will write the essay in class during the final exam period.

You may bring a single 3x5 card of notes to the final. You may use both sides of the card; it must be in your own handwriting. You may include notes to help with the essay if you like.
Sixth period final: Wednesday, June 8th, 10:20.
Seventh period final: Friday, June 9th, 8:10.
