Second quarter progress report period ends on Friday, December 1st. See me (and all your teachers) right away if you have any questions about your grade. 

US History:
1. Bring your Speed Dating Resume to class and be ready to circulate and introduce yourself to other students.
2. After Speed Dating, we will review for the unit test, which will take place on Monday.

EL World History:
1. Quiz on Friday -- New ideas from the Industrial Revolution.
2. You will have time to work on the review sheets for the Industrial Revolution. The unit test will be on Monday.

APEH:
1. More presentations on Friday.

1. You will be finishing your Speed Dating Resume in class on Thursday, and then exchanging information with others in the class.
2. You will be taking the unit test for this unit (Industrialization, Immigration and the Progressives) either Friday or Monday.

EL World History:
1. We will finish the "New Ideas" reading on Thursday. There will be a quiz on this reading.

APEH:
1. 18th century presentations will start on Thursday (after a brief lecture). Be ready to educate us!
2. We'll wrap up this unit by early next week and move on to the Dual Revolutions.

I will be absent on Friday, November 17th. I will be attending the National Council for Social Studies annual conference in San Francisco.  Please check your grades in Aeries, and email me if you have nay questions. 

US History:

EL World History:

APEH:
1. Finish the Chapter 16 Study Guide -- questions 19 and 20. Leave your Study Guide, along with your answers to the questions about Candide, with Mr. Matossian on Friday.
2. Due after Thanksgiving break: Chapter 17 SG -- chart of 18th century wars and primary source questions (on the back of the sheet).
3. Also due after break: You re-evaluation of the Hub Dates for the period 1450-1648. In addition, fill in the Hub Dates sheet for 1648-1815. Copy the "Key Concepts" from the handout you received at the beginning of the course.
4. Have a wonderful Thanksgiving break. Email me if you have any questions about the SG.
