US History:
1. If you are handing in extra credit, it's due by Tuesday, December 17th.

US History:
1. If you missed the final exam essay at block, see me immediately to arrange a makeup. This is an in-class essay, and must be completed here at school.
2. Your map of WWI and the textbook assignment "WWI: There and Here" will be due on Friday.
3. If you are doing the extra credit questions, plan to turn them by Tuesday, December 17th (BEFORE final exams).

EL World History:
1. Quiz on Friday!  WWI vocabulary.

APEH:
1. Lectures :(
2. Hub Dates quiz on Friday.  List the Hub Dates for 1st semester.  Provide two significant events for each Hub Date -- you must give some indication that you understand the significance of the events.  Example:  Battle of Waterloo; final end of Napoleonic Wars.
Note: each event you list must be distinct.  In other words, you can't list "the French Revolution" and "the end of the French monarchy" as two events for 1789.  A correct entry would read "French Revolution ends monarchy and feudalism in France."  This would count as one event.

No homework.

US History:
1. You will be writing and submitting your essay on US imperialism in the late 19th century during block period next week. You may have your chart of sources (including notes on Aguinaldo and the political cartoons) and the outline form with you as you write.   If you need help with the essay, come to F14 before school or at lunch, or at Trojan Time.

Remember to print out your chart of sources for the essay.  This way, you will be able to have it on your desk as you write.

Here is a link for a series of political cartoons about US expansion in the late 19th and early 20th centuries.  Some are supportive of US expansion and others are opposed.  These cartoons may be used in your essay!  You may refer to them by the title of the cartoon.

2. Hub Dates!  Be able to list the 11 hub years for the 1st semester (1453 through 1815).  Provide 2 events or developments for each hub year.  If the year is shown in parentheses on your handout, there may be no significant event from that exact year.
