1. Due at block: Chart showing things and events "Before, During and After" the Industrial Revolution. 

APEH:
1. Start reading Chapter 16. We'll do this chapter and Chapter 17 very quickly. 
2. What is the difference between democracy and constitutionalism?  What is the difference between absolutism and totalitarianism?  The AP readers love these questions. 
3. You should be able to trace the development of absolutism in France, and constitutionalism in England.

1. You will be writing your essay in the computer lab on Wednesday.  You may use ONLY your outline during the essay (not the chart; not a draft).  Bring your binder; you will be handing in the outline and your T chart at the end of the period.
2. Due Friday: Rise of Industrialism (textbook reading guide).
3. See me immediately if you missed the unit test on the Civil War.  I will be in room 122 early in the morning on Tuesday and Wednesday, and you may also come in at lunch. 

World History:
No homework.

EL World History:
1. Finish the questions on the back of the "Industrialization" notes.

APEH:
1. Be prepared to discuss Montaigne at block.
2. You should be finished with the reading and Study Guide selections for Chapter 15. 
3. Read the handouts on witch hunting (letter from a witch; Malebranche) and be ready to discuss them.
4. If you plan to hand in the slave trade POV assignment for partial credit, please bring it at block.  If you got a disappointing score, and would like to re-write it, I will accept it for full credit.

2. You should be ready to discuss Montaigne and "witch hunting" by Monday. We'll have a little time to discuss expansion and the intellectual changes that accompanied this period, then we'll be ready for a unit test.
