US History:
1. We'll finish essay prep on Friday and I will also hand out a review sheet for the unit test.
2. You will be writing your essay on Reconstruction in class at block next week. Be sure your T-chart contains lots of evidence to show that Reconstruction efforts created progress for African Americans, and evidence to show that Reconstruction failed to achieve its goals.

EL World History:
No homework.

APEH:
1. Your POV analysis on the African slave trade is due Friday.
2. Study Guides are due at block next week, when we will take the unit test on Chapter 14. Study the book carefully; the MC test is a book test.
3. We will wrap up cultural relativism in class on Friday.

US History:
1. You should be working on your T-chart of Reconstruction. Get as many examples of helpful and unhelpful things on each side of the chart. Remember, you are looking for actions/policies/laws that increased liberty, equality and justice for African Americans, and actions/policies/laws that worked against reforms and allowed Southerners to continue to discriminate against African Americans.
2. You will be writing the essay in class at block next week.

EL World History:
1. Unit test on the French Revolution will take place on Thursday! I will be doing a binder check during the test.

APEH:
1. The final portions of your Chapter 14 SG will be due at block period next week.
2. POV assignment (African slave trade) is due on Friday.

1. We will cover Reconstruction and finish the T chart on Thursday, and prep for the essay on Friday.

EL World History:
1. Unit test on the French Revolution will take place on Thursday. Be sure to bring your binder for a binder check.

APEH:
1. You should be working on the Chapter 14 SG...the remainder of the questions and the IDs are due at block next week. At that point, we should be ready for a unit test.
2. Your POV analysis on the sources related to the African slave trade is due on Friday. Remember to stay focused on POV...analyze the source in terms of its usefulness and reliability. Consider the identity of the writer, his motives for writing, his knowledge of the subject matter, any biases, etc. For this particular set of documents, none of the writers are historically prominent people, but a couple of them do represent identifiable interest groups. Be sure to note change over time.

EL World History:
1. If you took your French Revolution Book home, be sure to bring it back on Monday.

APEH:
1. The second installment of your Chapter 14 Study Guide is due on Tuesday.
2. If you didn't hand in the DBQ outline, please do so on Monday.
3. You should be annotating the two readings that were handed out on Friday.  We will discuss this in class next week.

2. You should be have an outline of the DBQ prepared: Thesis statement, topic sentences, list of docs for each paragraph and what you will use them for, and POV notes.

1. We're about finished with the Reformation, so review Chapter 13. Remember that a chapter test is book-based, so if you have not closely read the chapter, now is your chance.
2. What were the causes of the Protestant Reformation. If your answer is focused solely on corruption in the Roman Catholic Church, you need to expand your understanding to include other factors.
