Happy Three-Day Weekend!

We have started our final unit on the Middle East.
You should have finished the reading notes on the decline of the Ottoman Empire on Friday; there is no weekend homework.

US History:
We took the Vietnam test and handed in a packet of homework on Friday. If you were one of the many people who missed class due to field trips, please remember to see me as soon as you return next week to make up the test.
If you/your group did not hand in a Vietnam era song or give a performance, you should see me to discuss what you can do to make up this project.
Please bring your book to block (May 17 and 18).

APEH:
We will debate French secularism next week, and also discuss the controversy over rising German nationalism.
Please remember to bring your McKay and Perry books so that they can be returned to the bookroom. Next year's students need to check them out before May 27!!
Don't forget to pay for your Study Guide. I will request a list of those who have paid from Ms. Jin at the end of next week, and then give a list of those who haven't paid to the bookroom. After that, you will have a difficult time, since things become very busy for the bookroom. Your childish pleas for mercy will fall on deaf ears there.
