World History:
1. If you didn't finish the chart on "Conditions in Pre-Revolutionary China" in class at block this week, have it ready to be stamped on Friday.
2. Remember to bring your book to class on Friday -- 5 points!

APEH:
1. Review Sheets!! Give special attention to the essay questions...they get "recycled" from time to time (so do the multiple choice questions).

2. Due Friday: Paragraph explaining your recommendation for US foreign policy in Vietnam -- should the US help our ally France rebuild its economy by regaining its colony in Vietnam? Or should we support the independence of Vietnam under Ho Chi Minh, even though he's a communist?

World History:
1. Due Thursday: Cornell notes on "Imperialism Advances."

APEH:
1. Finish reading Chapter 31. Unit test (30 and 31 is Tuesday, during STAR week).
2. Read the Perry selections. What does Ellul see as the enduring contribution of the West to world civilization? Do you agree?

1. Vietnam Vocab Quiz Thursday!
2. Due Friday: 250-300 word paragraph in which you give your opinion about the foreign policy you believe the US should have followed after WWII with respect to Vietnam. Should the US have supported the French in regaining its colony in Vietnam? Should the US have supported Vietnamese independence under Ho Chi Minh's communist Viet Minh party? Should the US have remained neutral in the dispute between France and the Viet Minh? Use your topic sentence to state your position and back it up with facts, examples and arguments.

World History:
1. Due Thursday: text notes on "Imperialism Advances."

APEH:
1. Due at block: POV comparison on the fall of communism in Eastern Europe.

2. We should be wrapping up Chapters 30 and 31 this week. It would be good to take the test on Thursday, so you have more time, but you might be able to get it done on Friday...

1. No homework. We'll finish the Russia unit at block, review on Thursday and take the unit test on Friday. Be sure to bring your binder to class.

1. More Cold War review sheets and ugly lectures. You should have finished reading Chapter 30 and be working on Chapter 31 (last chapter!!).
2. Essay outlines! Be prepared...you'll be writing the essay on Thursday.

2. Cold War map quiz on Friday. NATO, Warsaw Pact, E. Coal and Steel Community, Cold War trivia.
