US History:
1. Due at block: Questions on the Gulf of Tonkin Incident. Who was President of the US at the time of this incident? Did he increase or decrease America's involvement in Vietnam?

World Civ:
1. Due at block: Reading notes entitled "Advance of Imperialism." We'll go over the questions on "Development of Chinese Civilization."
2. Finish the reading on "Chinese Footbinding" for Friday.
3. I will expect you to be able to be able to explain the concept of "legitimacy" of a government, and to explain the different sources of legitimacy in a divine right monarchy, a democracy and in imperial China. If you are reading this blog, you have the opportunity to take some notes on this question, and use them to help you answer this question in class.

APEH:
1. See me if you want to do the Chapter 31 SG for extra credit.
2. By now, you should have finished reading McKay. In addition, you should have finished all assigned readings in Perry, including those for the LBP. The LBP itself may not be due until after the AP exam, but you should still do the readings, since they contain good stuff relevant to contemporary European issues.
3. I'm trying to get your essays read during the STAR week. We should be able to discuss them on Friday by the latest.
4. I will be available after school every day next week for AP exam review. Just let me know if you're interested. I should have review sheets available by Thursday.
5. Go back through your notebook and all of your maps. See if you can remember the key identifying characteristics of each map. What changes to European borders came with each new era, and what did these changes signify about the changing political situation?
6. The best practice for the muptiple choice portion of the AP exam is to take as many similar tests as possible...

4. If you've found a really good website for reviewing for the AP exam, I'd like to know about it. We have some computer time reserved for the block period just before the exam and I would like to have a short list of the best sites.
