APEH:
Don't forget that you get Jafar for a completed SG tomorrow!  He's worth bonus points!

How did the French Revolution reflect the ideas and values we associate with the Enlightenment?  In what ways did the events of the Revolution seem to contradict Enlightenment ideas?  This same question could be asked of other events of the period, such as the Glorious Revolution, the American Revolution, the Hatian Revolution, or the reign of Napoleon Bonaparte.  In each case, some developments seemed to be the outcome of a new, rational worldview, while other developments seemed to reflect earlier political, social and economic attitudes.

In order to answer a question of this kind, what is the first thing you have define/articulate?
