Third quarter progress report period ends this week; grades will go home next week. See me if you have any outstanding work you need to turn in. 

US History:
1. Due Thursday: "War and Civil Rights."  Remember, there will be a quiz on the two sections of notes, "Mobilizing the Home Front" and "War and Civil Rights." You will absolutely need good notes to do well on the quiz.

EL World History:
1. If you didn't finish the chart of "Causes of World War II," you should have it finished before block period on Wednesday. You will be writing a paragraph about the causes of the war in class at block. 

APEH:
1. IDs for Chapter 22 are due at block.

1. Unit test on Thursday.  I will be collecting a packet of work from your binder, including the Xword you started in class at block. Review the 3-step method for political cartoons -- you will be analyzing a cartoon related to the Great Depression/New Deal as part of the unit test.

EL World History:

APEH:
1. Start working on the Chapter 22 IDs.
2. You will have additional class time to work on the 19th century political spectrum.

1. You should have finished the chart of New Deal programs in class on Monday.
2. We will wrap up the Great Depression/New Deal unit at block, and take the unit test on Thursday.

EL World History:

APEH:
1. Romanticism notes will be due at block. You will have a short time in the media lab to print your document.
2. When we get back from the lab, you will take the Chapter 21 multiple-choice test.

1. Make arrangements with your partner(s) to produce a final copy of your Romanticism notes. I would like to get these at block.  We have the lab booked for Tuesday, so you will have an opportunity to print if needed.
2. Work on the review sheet of nineteenth century thinkers and ideas.
3. We should be able to take a multiple choice test on Chapter 21 in the coming week.

1. If you didn't finish the Venn diagram comparing fascism and communism, have it ready for a stamp on Thursday.
2. You will have a vocabulary quiz on Friday, covering the WWII terms you have learned so far in the unit.

APEH:
1. Finish the Chapter 21 SG, including the IDs and the Fill-ins.
2. You will be working on the Romanticism project in class on Thursday.
3. If you need to retake the map quiz, come in at lunch this week.
4. Those of you who haven't taken the Chapter 20 test should arrange to do so at the same time, so that you can take advantage of group consultation.

4. As you read Chapter 21, focus on the ways in which the social and economic changes of the Industrial Revolution accelerated the political changes that had been underway since the 18th century.

1. If you didn't finish the chart showing the impact of the Great Depression on various social groups, have it finished for a stamp on Thursday.
2. On Thursday, you will take an open-note quiz covering all the material in the unit thus far. All stamped notes may be used on the quiz.

1. Due Thursday: 19th century narrative assignment and industrialization POV (Dickens, Ure and Engels).

4. You should be reading Chapter 21 and working on the SG.  The handouts on French and British governments are intended to help you with the political stuff in Chapters 21 and 23.

3. You will have some time in class to work on the 19th century narrative and the POV comparison, which will be due on Thursday.
4. Study the Congress Europe map.
5. The chart on 19th century thinkers and ideas is intended to help you get a handle on this hugely important century.  The page numbers are based on the Perry book.  If you fill in the chart with notes on the various thinkers, it will be worth some extra credit.
6. Review the handouts on French governments and British political leaders -- these are to help you clarify matters as you read the textbook.
