APEH:

I have summer homework packets from 31 of the 35 students on the APEH roster.  If you have not turned in your summer assignment or contacted me about your situation, be aware that you may be dropped from the class.

If you turned in a partial assignment (some sections missing), you should get in touch with me to discuss your completion goals.

See you in a couple of weeks!

APEH:

Uh oh.  If you were unable to turn in your summer assignment (because the office was unexpectedly closed), send me an email to let me know.

You can email me a copy of your work, but I will still want a paper copy later.  The office should re-open either next week or the week after.

If you left your work with the bookroom lady, I will pick it up on Monday.  If you left it with the registrar, I already have it.  If you are worried about this, send me an email, and I'll check to see if I have your packet.

Sorry for the confusion!

APEH:

Summer homework is due in my box in the main office by noon tomorrow!

Be sure to have all the parts of the assignment clearly labeled.  Get everything in order and place the assignment in a folder or envelope marked with your name.

Reminder: There are numerous students on the waiting list for APEH this year.  If you do not turn in the summer assignment, and if you do not contact me to discuss the situation, I may drop you from the class in order to give another student a chance.

See you soon!

ONE WEEK until your summer assignment is due!

Be sure to email me with any last-minute questions.

Get all the sections of the assignment in order.  Make sure it is neat and clean-looking, with all sections clearly labeled.

Place all sections in a folder or envelope labeled with your name.  Put the folder/envelope in my box in the main office (under my name) by noon on July 27th.  I will clear my box at noon (and the building will be locked up for the rest of the summer!).  If you turn your work in after noon, I will not get it until school starts, and I will regard it as late (unless you have made some arrangement with me before that time).

If you think you may not be able to turn your assignment in on time, be sure to make contact with me to discuss the situation as soon as possible!

Now and forever: DO NOT wait until after the due date for an assignment to discuss the problem with your instructor/professor.  DO NOT simply turn in work late, in the hope that it will be accepted.  DO check with your instructor to see if late work will be accepted (full credit? partial credit?), and DO keep your instructor informed about your progress.

I'm looking forward to reading your work. See you in a few weeks!

APEH:

Two weeks til your summer homework is due!  Keep working, and email me if you get stuck.

Remember to focus on big themes.  What economic changes were underway in the 14th century?  How was political authority changing?  What new ideas were emerging about the role of man in society?  Try to fit each fact into a bigger picture of a rapidly changing society.
