Greetings and welcome to the start of a new school year!

I will hand out course outlines and parent-response slips to all students the first day of class. Please place the course outline in your notebook and return the parent-response slips to me as soon as possible.

World Civ and US History students should have a 3-ring binder with blank paper and dividers by Monday, August 30. We'll discuss notebook organization in class. There will be a notebook check next week! An easy first few points to start off the quarter...

European History students should have notebooks immediately (by the second day of class).

Have you noticed all the "Back to School" commercials on TV --- they make it look like everyone is so thrilled to be coming back! I'm absolutely sure that you are all eager to start the year...but the whole "Back to School" commercial hype does make you want to puke just a little bit, doesn't it?
