1. No homework.  If you missed the essay (in class at block), see me immediately for a makeup date.
2. Unit test on WWII will take place on Friday.  Be sure to bring your binder; I will collect a packet.

EL World History:
No homework.

APEH:
1. Chapter 29 SG is due on Friday.
2. Read the articles on DeGaulle and Churchill, and read/annotate the article on the Nazi Soviet Pact.  What were Stalin's motivations?
3. Unit test on Friday...Interwar period and WWII.

1. Essay in class on Wednesday!  I will stamp your chart at the beginning of the period -- if there are substantial points in each column.  You may use the chart during the essay, as well as the prompt sheet, and you may pre-write your thesis statement and topic sentences.

EL World History:
No homework.

APEH:
1. All of the Chapter 29 SG due Friday. I will also collect one or more of the review sheets, and the chart on Nazism.
2. Unit test Friday, with a map.

This Friday is the end of the 3rd quarter.  See me immediately if you have questions about your grade. 

US History:
1. Essay in class on Wednesday.  You may have your chart and the prompt sheet.  You may pre-write your thesis statement and topic sentences on the back of the prompt sheet if you wish.

EL World History:
1. No homework.  If you missed Monday's quiz, see me right away to arrange a makeup.

APEH:
1. Last section of the Chapter 29 SG is due Friday.
2. We will finish the Nazi document chart at block; we will also discuss the article about the Nazi-Soviet Pact.
3. Be ready for a test on the Interwar period and WWII early next week.
4. I should have your Modern Art notes...make sure that everyone in your group gets a copy.

US History:
1. Finish reading the article on "History without Hiroshima" and answer the questions on the back (separate sheet of paper).
2. Transfer all information and arguments to your chart.
3. Review the prompt; it matches the chart.  Draft your thesis statement and topic sentences if you want -- you may write them on the back of the prompt sheet.
4. Remember that you may have the chart and the prompt sheet on your desk when you are writing the essay...nothing else.  You will be writing in class on Wednesday, March 25th.

EL World History:
1. Quiz on Monday: Growth of Russia.  Study the notes and the review sheet.

APEH:
1. Next section of the Chapter 29 SG is due on Monday.
2. You should be nearly finished with your Modern Art project.  Be sure to answer all questions, and do a proposed outline for one of the sample art-based exam questions.
3. In class, we will return to the Nazi assignment; this will be due next week.

1. You should have filled in the video notes and answered the questions at the end of the sheet.  In addition, you should have transferred to your chart all possible facts and arguments about the decision to drop the atomic bomb that came out in the video.   Remember that when you begin writing, you will have only the chart to rely on.

EL World History:
No homework.

APEH:
1. First part of the Chapter 29 SG is due Thursday.  Also, be sure to fill out the review sheets.

1. You should have a lot of evidence on your chart from your group work on Monday.  Remember that your goal is to have enough evidence on the chart that you would be able to use it as the basis of an essay.

EL World History:
1. Finish the questions for "Growth of Russia."

APEH:
1. Start reading Chapter 29 and work on the SG questions.
2. You should have filled at least 4 categories related to the rise of the Nazis on your chart.  We'll review this when we have time.
3. Time for Modern art.

2. Continue working on Chapter 28.  Pay special attention to the disruption to European society that occurred during this time.  Focus on social conditions, political ideas and economic systems.
3. Read poetry.  Remember to handle poetry (and other art forms) as primary sources...make every effort to connect the poem to transitions of the time.
