US History:
1. Your program request form is due on Monday, March 6.
2. We'll work on a chart on the impact of WWII on American social groups in class, and make presentations.

World Civ.:
1. Your paragraph on appeasement is due at block.
2. Text assignment "Allies are Victorious" is due on Thursday, March 2.
3. The test on WWII will take place on Friday, March 3.

APEH:
1. We'll review for the 19th century test on Thursday, and go back to the computer lab to finish our art project on Friday.
2. The test on the 19th century will be on Monday, March 6.

US History:
1. Remember that we will be going to Program Planning Day on Monday, Feb. 27. Be prepared to ask the counselor any questions about graduation requirements, electives, etc. You will receive a transcript and a copy of the planning guide.
2. We'll finish our map/discussion of Pearl Harbor and the Pacific War at block, and move on to a discussion of the Home Front.

World Civ.:
1. Your paragraph on appeasement is due at block.
2. We'll review "Japan Strikes in the Pacific" and the map on Monday, Feb. 27.
3. The text assignment "The Allies are Victorious" is due on Thursday, March 2.
4. Bring your books to block and on Thursday.
5. We'll be wrapping up the WWII unit by the end of next week!

APEH:
1. You should be finishing up all the readings for the 19th century (Chapters 23-26).
2. We will finish the unit with a discussion of "New Imperialism."
3. I'll hand out review sheets. Bring your books and Study Guides to class.
4. Chapter 26 Study Guide is due at block, Feb. 29.

US History:
1. At block we reviewed the second reading outline, then took the quiz on both outlines.
2. Students finished the WWII timeline. If you didn't already get the map completed and stamped, you should do that as well.

World Civ.:
1. I handed out a textbook assignment entitled "Japan Strikes in the Pacific." Answers are due on Friday.
2. We reviewed the chart on causes of the war, and I stamped the paragraph.
3. We discussed a few more political cartoons on the subject of appeasement.
4. I assigned an "assertion paragraph" on the wisdom of the appeasement policy followed by France and Britain during the years leading to WWII. It's due at block period next week.
5. We reviewed "Battle for France and Great Britain," and took an open-note quiz.

APEH:
1. You should have finished your outline on a 19th century essay topic and gotten feedback from your team. The finished outline is due on Thursday.
2. Chapter 25 Study Guides were due today (Tuesday).
3. I'll give out the numbers for the Chapter 26 Study Guide on Thursday.

2. Everyone should be finished with the map, and we'll review it.
3. There will be time to work on the timeline of WWII events.
4. The second reading outline, "War and Civil Rights" is due at block, and there will be an open-note quiz on the two outlines.

World Civ.:
1. Everyone should be finished with the map, and we'll review it.
2. We'll review the chart on the causes of WWII, and discuss the paragraph.
3. You'll have time in class to work on your homework...bring your book to class.
4. Due at block: "The Battle for France and Great Britain."

1. I'll return your Chapter 24 Study Guide...work on Chapter 25.
2. We'll be in the computer lab at block to work on outlines. Bring books. If you finish your outline, you can work on your Study Guide.
