1. If you haven't finished filling in the T-Chart on Napoleon, finish it up over the weekend.  You'll have time in class on Monday to create an outline for your essay, which will be written in class at block.

EL World History:
1. If you haven't finished the chart on "Causes of the French Revolution," finish it up over the weekend.  You'll have time in class on Monday to create an outline for your essay, which you will write in class on Wednesday.

APEH:
1. Next section of the SG is due on Monday.  I will lecture on the 30 Yrs War.

World History:
1. We are preparing for an essay, which you will write in class at block next week.  Review your notes on Napoleon and try to decide which of his policies were democratic (similar to the goals of the revolutionaries) and which were autocratic (similar to the policies of kings).
2. If you missed the unit test on the French Revolution, you should see me immediately to set up a makeup appointment. You will also need to hand in homework from the unit.


EL World History:
1. You will take the unit test on the French Revolution on Friday.
2. We are preparing for an essay on the causes of the French Revolution.  You should have filled in as many examples as possible on the "Causes and Effects" chart.

APEH:
1. Map quiz (1648) on Friday!
2. The next section of readings/SG questions is due on Monday.

1. Your first Study Guide section for Chapter 15 (Religious Wars and Expansion) is due on Monday.
2. You should study the map on page 500 (1648).  You also have a blank map for this date.  You'll be taking a map quiz by the end of next week.
3. You should be getting a clearer idea of the mix of political and religious factors that were at play during the Reformation period.
4. Review the page of advice on DBQs I handed out on Friday, as well as the DBQ rubric.

World History:
1. If you didn't finish the chart of "Causes of the French Revolution" in class, have it finished for a stamp on Tuesday.  Remember, each point on your chart must include a cause and an effect (outcome or result) that helps explain the outbreak of the French Revolution. Causes may be short-term or long-term (underlying conditions).

EL World History:
1. If you didn't finish the text notes on the French Revolution in class on Monday, have them finished by the start of class on Wednesday.

APEH:
1. Unit test on Chapter 14 (Reformation) on Tuesday.
Due: Study Guide including 3 sections of Review Questions, 35 IDs and Fill-Ins.  Extra Credit (optional): Identify the three books (Imitation of Christ; Address to the Christian Nobility of the German Nation; Institutes of the Christian Religion). Who were authors, and what was the significance of each work?
I will also collect the chart comparing religions and the chart on causes and consequences of the Reformation.

1. You should have the chart comparing religions finished by Friday.
2. Let's plan to take the multiple choice test on Tuesday.  Your completed Study Guide, including the IDs, will be due then.

1. Due Thursday: "Three Unequal Estates."  Read and carefully highlight/underline the front of the sheet, then complete the illustration and questions on the back.  Be sure to use complete and thoughtful sentences in your answers. 

EL World History:
1. Finish the questions on France in the 1600s and 1700s, if you didn't finish them in class.

APEH:
1. You should be working on that endless list of IDs for the Reformation, and the chart comparing religions.
2. Please read the handouts on Erasmus, the TULIP and the Twelve Articles of the Peasants in Swabia. 
3. Last day to re-take the map quiz is Wednesday. 
4. Can you list several causes of the Protestant Reformation OTHER THAN corruption in the Catholic Church?

World History:
1. Due Thursday: "Sun King" reading with questions.  Write the answers on a separate sheet of paper, using complete sentences.  NO pronouns.  Please write neatly, and skip lines between answers. 
2. If you missed the unit test at block, see me right away to arrange a makeup.  You will also need to hand in work from your binder. 

EL World History:
1. Review sheets are due on Thursday.
2. Unit test is Thursday.  I will be checking your binders.

APEH:
1. Three more Study Guide questions are due. 
2. Map Quiz: 1555.  You should know countries, the major rivers and bodies of water.  Hamburg is on there, for some reason.  There are no mountain ranges this time. 
3. We'll have work time in class after the quiz.
