Friday, October 28th is the end of the first quarter. See me if you have questions about your grade!

US History:

1. Due Friday: your letter to the editor disputing the views of the Southern slave owner. Be sure to use evidence from the reading and handout. Typed, double-spaced, 12pt font, 1 inch margins. Your letter should be about 250-300 words in length.
2. You'll take the quiz on slavery and politics on Friday.

World History:
1. If you didn't finish the review puzzle on Napoleon and the Congress of Vienna, have it ready for a stamp on Friday.
2. Due next week at block: your own handmade vehicle. It can be any kind of vehicle, but it must be handmade by you.

EL World History:
1. You'll be handing in a packet of work from your binder on Friday.

APEH:
1. Learn those French kings!
2. Map quiz Friday.

1. It's Napoleon week. You'll have additional time to complete the map in class. At block period next week, you will be writing the essay. Keep listening for ways in which Napoleon fulfilled the goals of the French revolutionaries, and ways that he seems to have gone against those goals.

On the back, you should have a thesis statement and three topic sentences for an essay on the causes of the French Revolution. For each topic sentence, include at least three meaningful bullet points to show what the content of the paragraph.

1. We'll be starting lectures and discussions on the Reformation at block. At this point, you should have read the most of Chapter 14. You should also have read the excerpts from Perry Vol. One, and you should have made a list of Lutheran and Calvinist beliefs. You should also have read the handout on the Renaissance papacy.
