This Week's Schedule: Both TTs are open. Make appointments for Tuesday and Wednesday.
Friday is a work day for teachers: no school for students.
Halloween costume contest on Thursday. No masks or weapons. I will give 5 points EC to students who come as US historical figures.
Reminder: if you come to TT in room 122, you MUST bring academic work. If you don't have homework or studying to do, bring a book to read.
EL World History
You will finish your final draft of a paragraph on the causes of the French Revolution.
We'll move on to the new government during the revolution -- what problems did they face?
We'll cover the "Reign of Terror."
Our last topic will be the rise of Napoleon Bonaparte. You'll complete a map of Napoleon's empire.

US History
You'll have a little work time to finish "Populism and Protest" and the video notes on the Homestead Steel strike. We'll review these in class together.
At the beginning of block period, you'll take a short quiz on "Populism and Protest.
We'll move on to the second part of the unit: Immigration. You'll take notes on the "New Immigration," and we'll discuss different ideas about assimilation and acculturation.
