1. Scores for your essay on slavery are in Aeries. If you have not written the essay, see me immediately to arrange a makeup. This is an in-class essay, and must be written here in class.
2. Civil War unit test on Wednesday! Be sure to have your binder in order -- you will be handing in work from the Civil War unit.

EL World History:
1. Your French Revolution review sheets are due at block.
2. Unit test on the French Revolution on Tuesday! Be sure to have your binder ready for a binder check.

APEH:
1. We'll continue with the 30 Years War lecture, and then finish our presentations on "Absolutism and Constitutionalism."

1. By now, you should have read and analyzed all the documents for the slavery essay. Use the outline form you were given in class to organize your paragraphs. You may pre-write your thesis statement and topic sentences.
2. Due Thursday: Textbook timeline on Sectional Conflict.

EL World History:
1. You should have lots of facts and information on your chart of "Causes of the French Revolution."
2. You will have time in class at block to finish the outline and begin writing the essay.

APEH:
1. Next section of the SG is due on Tuesday.
2. Please read and annotate the Montaigne reading (On Cannibals) and the documents (1-4) related to the slave trade. We will be discussing them in groups on Wednesday.
3. Last part of the SG will be due on Friday (questions 19 and 22).

1. Due Thursday: Timeline of Sectional Conflict. Read the textbook section carefully and fill in the boxes using bullet points.
2. You should have filled in the front page of the outline for your essay on slavery. If you are not sure how to fill in the outline, see me before school or at lunch. You will be writing the essay during block period this week.

EL World History:

1. Due Tuesday: next section of the SG.
2. Read and highlight/annotate the handout on the African Slave Trade, and the excerpt from Montaigne's "On Cannibals." You will be discussing them in groups.
