Hi, Everyone!  Sorry I've been out; I'm pretty ill, but I hope you get along fine with the sub(s).  I'll be out again on Tuesday and Wednesday.

World History:
1. You'll be watching part of the video "Trenches of Hell."  Pay attention to all the new weapons, and how many casualties they caused.  Please help the sub run the video if needed.
2. Use the blue textbook to do Cornell notes on pages 433-37.  At the end of your notes, write a summary that answers the question:  Identify and describe the social, political and economic affects of "total war" on the people of European nations and the USA. This is due on Thursday!

EL World History:
1. Do the map reading activity.  After you answer the questions, lightly shade the map to show the alliances during World War I.
2. Watch the video "Trenches of Hell."

APEH:
1. There will be a unit test on Chapter 21 (The French Revolution) on Friday.  The map quiz will be part of the test.  Study BOTH the map of 1810 (Napoleonic Europe) and 1815 (Congress of Vienna) -- one of them will be on the test.  You already received a study map for 1815; there will be a blank map for 1810 available in the room at block.
2. Keep working on Chapter 22.  Read the chapter carefully and do ALL the IDs (the people and terms). Remember to include significance for each person/term.  Do the fill-ins.
3. Help the sub run the video if she/he has problems.  It's art!  Baroque to Neoclassicism.
