1. Read the Perry sections on the French Revolution.
2. Read Chapter 22.
3. Be ready for Hub Dates and a map quiz (Napoleonic Europe and/or Congress Europe) right after break.

1. If you didn't finish your map in class at block, finish it at home and have it ready on Friday.
2. Due Friday: Paragraph on a WWI topic (based on your Internet research).  Begin with an assertion about the significance of your topic, and support it with evidence from the article you read.

EL World History:
No homework.

APEH:
1. Chapter 21 Study Guide is due on Friday.  Don't forget to include the Cahiers de Doleances on your list of IDs.
2. You should be filling in your chart of the causes of the French Revolution.  Some causes are long-term (underlying) causes; others are short-term triggers.  You should be able to categorize the causes. Try thinking in terms of PERSIA.

1. Due Friday: Paragraph (with notes) on a WWI topic.  Your paragraph should begin with an assertion (underline it) about the significance of the topic you researched.  The paragraph should contain evidence about that assertion, drawn from the article you read.

1. Study Guide for Chapter 21 is due on Friday.  I'll lecture the French Revolution, and we'll see how much you remember.

1. Study Guide and worksheet on the Scientific Revolution and Enlightenment are due on Friday.
2. The unit test on Chapters 18, 19 and 20 will be on Monday.
3. One major theme we have been studying is the emergence of the modern nation-state.  What are some of the challenges and problems that arise in this process?  What forces push governments and peoples toward a unified, centralized nation-state?  What obstacles stand in the way?  Note that these forces and obstacles differ from nation to nation, so think in terms of specific nations, such as France, England, Spain and Holland.
