World History:
No homework.  If you didn't hand in your paragraph on Friday, it's worth 1/2 credit on Tuesday (put it in my box if you don't have MWH on Tuesday).

EL World History:
No homework.

APEH:  I've graded your map quizzes, but the Aeries portal appears to be down...I can't enter the scores right now.  I'll keep trying.  If you think you need to retake the quiz, remember that you can do it until Thursday.  Just let me know when you want to come in.

1. We will start going over Hub Dates at block.  We'll also begin reviewing the summer work, so be sure you have it with you.  You should be ready for a Hub Dates quiz on Thursday.
2. Fill in the review sheet that you received in class on Friday. This is review/common sense...we'll review it "round robin" style in class (what fun!).
3. First multiple choice test is rapidly approaching (Chapter 12), as well as an FRQ on the 100 Years' War.  Focus on how the war caused England and France to begin to develop toward modern, centralized nation-states.

World History:
1. Due Friday: Position paragraph.  Write a strong statement to start your paragraph, then support it with facts and examples.  Be sure to explain why those who disagree with your position are incorrect.  Remember not to use "I" statements.
2. Please bring your binder and permission slip on Friday.  If you are having concerns about supplies (such as a binder), please see me or your counselor immediately for assistance.

EL World History:
1. Due Friday: Paragraph in your spiral notebook that starts with "A long time ago..."  You can imagine any place in the world.  Write at least 4-5 sentences that describe what things were like a long time ago, and how they are different now.
2. Please have your binder and permission slip on Friday.  If you have any concerns about supplies (such as a binder), please see me or your counselor immediately for assistance.

APEH:
1. Map Quiz Friday!  Major rivers, mountain ranges, seas.  Main cities.  Traditional regional names, such as Flanders or Poland.  Names of nations that have remained the same over many years (such as France, Spain, or England).  The map is not reflective of any particular date.
2. You should have your binder and permission slip by Friday.  See me immediately if you have any concerns about supplies.
3. We will probably take a Hub Dates quiz next week.  You should be looking for Hub Date events for all the dates on the front side of your sheet (1450 through 1815).
