1. Due Thursday: Social Studies categories. On the back of the sheet, you should have a well-written topic sentence and a thesis statement.

1. Map quiz Friday -- use your summer homework to study. There will be some countries, a few mountain ranges, a few rivers and some cities.
2. On Friday, you'll be back in groups to see if you can do a bit more on the Western Civ review sheets. We'll also continue with the introductory PowerPoints.
3. Hub Dates: we'll try to review them at block period next week. You need at least 3 important events for each general time period on the chart. Try to have events/trends/people from different countries.
4. Keep thinking about the 100 Years' War. It exemplifies the changes going on during the early modern period in Western Europe. What changes??? Think social/political/economic.
