APEH:
Review!  Look at old essay questions.  If you have no clue how to answer them, you need to think about how these questions relate to the major "themes" of APEH.  The trick is to remember examples of events/facts/people that fit into the theme.  Example: changes in gender roles (a popular topic).  When you get a question about this, you need to focus on the period of time the prompt gives you, and try to remember the significant transformations that happened during that period.  Then, relate that to the status or life experiences of women.
