1. Your letter to President Roosevelt is due on Thursday, Feb. 3.

World Civ.:
1. Your review sheets are due at block. We'll review for the test and discuss/write about a WWI poem.
2. The test on WWI will take place on Thursday, Feb. 2.

APEH:
1. At block, we'll go to the computer lab and write the Irish Famine DBQ.
2. Work on the Study Guides for Chapters 23 through 26.

US History:
1. Your reading notes on "Hoover and the Failure of Conservatism" are due on Monday, Jan. 30.

World Civ.:
1. Your "assertion paragraph" on a World War I topic is due on Monday, January 30. Be sure you attach your notes to the back of your paragraph. The paragraph should be typed, double-spaced, no larger than 12 point font, 1 inch margins all around. Cite the BBC website as your bibliography entry.
2. You should be ready to take the World War I test at block (January 31 or Feb. 1).

APEH:
1. We'll continue discussing the essay questions posed in class on Friday, Jan. 27.
2. I'll hand out a DBQ, which we'll write in the computer lab at block.
3. Read the Perry and McKay readings for the 19th century.
4. Bring your books to class all week next week!

1. Due Monday: Reading outline on "The Dream on Hold."
2. At block period next week, there will be an open-note quiz covering the last few assignments. Be sure you are keeping your notebook up to date, and getting all your work stamped, so you'll be able to use it at the quiz!

World Civ.:
1. Due Monday: "Total War and Allied Victory."
2. If you didn't finish the "Evening News" worksheet in class on Thursday, you can still get it stamped on Friday.

APEH:
1. French Revolution test is Friday, January 20. You'll also hand in the Chapter 21 Study Guide questions that same day.
2. Your typed notes on your Romanticism research are due on Monday. Make sure you and your partner both have a full set of these notes. Romanticism is a frequent subject on the AP exam.
3. Continue working on Study Guide questions for Chapter 22 and the first half of Chapter 23.
This material will be covered on the big multiple choice test...next week!

2. If you missed the open-note homework quiz on "Postwar Turmoil," you should take it at tutorial on Wednesday, or at lunch on Thursday.

World Civ.:
1. Due on Monday, January 23: Text assignment entitled "Total War and Allied Victory."

APEH:
1. We'll take the French Revolution test on Friday, and you'll hand in the Chapter 21 Study Guide.
2. You should have finished most of the Romanticism worksheet in the computer lab on Tuesday. Please have it typed up and ready to hand in on Monday, January 23. If you worked with a partner, you may hand in one set of answers, but make sure you each have a copy for your notebook.
3. Continue working on the Study Guide for Chapter 22, and do the questions I gave you for the first half of Chapter 23.
4. We'll have our big multiple-choice test next week. There will be another thematic essay and another DBQ.

World Civ:
1. Due at block: "War Consumes Europe."
2. You should have been able to finish, or nearly finish, your map of Europe in WWI in class on Friday. If not, you should have it finished by block as well.

APEH:
1. We'll be in the computer lab for Romanticism during the block period.
2. Change of plans: we'll have a separate test on the French Revolution, and you will hand in your Study Guide on Chapter 21 when we take the test.

2. You will take the notorious French Kings test again on Friday, but this time we'll go all the way through the 4th Republic.
3. Keep working on Chapters 21 and 22 and your Study Guide questions. Massive M-C test is approaching.
